When you can't find a solution, make one yourself

Sarah Kaplan

While working with a client in the restaurant industry, I noticed that I was ordering A LOT of replacement iPad chargers. Workers in the store would use the chargers to charge their phones and as everyone knows these things have a tendency to "walk away". But at $60 a pop, I wondered if there was a way to lock these chargers and the cable into the outlet.

I couldn't find anything for sale that fit the larger iPad charger bases. So with the help of a friend and a 3D printer, we came up with an iPad lock that screws into an electrical faceplate.

If this solution could help you avoid disappearing iPad chargers you can buy our solution on Ebay.
